The credit crunch represents one of the most serious tests for the UK economy (and particularly the London economy) of the past decade or so.
How hard will this bite for the person in the street? Are the problems restricted to the financial markets or is the economy set for meltdown?
The King's Cross Business Forum's latest business improvement seminar, in partnership with Centa Business Services, offers Camden and Islington businesses the chance to receive an overview of the current situation and effectively plan for the future in the face of economic adversity.
This seminar will look at the immediate and potential impacts of the credit crunch on SMEs and micro businesses in London.
Nigel Harris of Harris & Co, specialises in providing accountancy and business strategy services to SME businesses (www.harrisandco.uk.com), and is an active member of the King's Cross Business Forum.
Gordon Douglass from GLA Economics will provide a short overview of the current situation with the national and London economy. GLA Economics is part of the Greater London Authority (GLA) that provides economic analysis and a firm statistical, factual and forecasting basis for policy decision making for the GLA Group.
